SMU Pride

The mission of SMU Pride is to connect SMU LGBTQ+ alumni to one another, our allies and the University through meaningful events and volunteer and giving opportunities.  We work to elevate the profile of LGBTQ+ alumni so the community can be aware of our existence and contributions.  As engaged alumni, we advocate for the continued development of inclusive and affirming policies at SMU.

The PLUS (+) in our name ensures that we will always be inclusive of all identities.

Serve on the SMU Pride Board: Members of the Pride Board work with members of the SMU Alumni Office staff to spread the word about Pride events and volunteer opportunities.  Email us to get involved!  Members of the Pride board are selected annually in July, but we are always looking for volunteers!

Attend Events: SMU Pride hosts many events throughout the year including happy hours, volunteer opportunities, and networking events. All events are publicized via Facebook, and through e-mail. To ensure that you are included on the SMU Pride distribution list, sign up here to join.
