Dallas Young Alumni

Approximately sixty percent of our Young Alumni live in the Dallas Metroplex.  The Dallas Young Alumni Affinity Group, known as DYA, was formed to connect young graduates through events and meaningful volunteer opportunities. Dallas Young Alumni hosts a variety of social, cultural, career networking, and family events throughout the academic year. Young Alumni include graduates from the classes of 1994-2014.

Join Dallas Young Alumni and DMA Junior Associates  for a mixer at LAB ART Texas.Enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at a mixer presented by SMU DYA in collaboration with  DMA Junior Associates and Minibar at LAB ART Texas, a new gallery in the Dallas Design District featuring works by some of the most prominent up-and-coming names in the international street art scene.

Dallas Young Alumni Breakfast Series - SMU Athletics
Join your fellow young alumni for a breakfast to welcome Head SMU Football Coach Chad Morris to the Hilltop. Morris was named AFCA National Assistant Coach of the Year and one of five finalists for National Offensive Coordinator of the Year by 247Sports.com in 2013, and the National Offensive Coordinator of the Year by Rivals.com in 2011.

Dallas Alumni - Meadows at the Meyerson
Join us for the 22nd anniversary of SMU Meadows School of the Arts' annual spring gala, "Meadows at the Meyerson 2015," which directly supports student scholarships. This event will showcase the critically acclaimed Meadows Symphony Orchestra performing Mahler's epic masterpiece Das Lied von der Erde (The Song of the Earth) with two renowned opera singers- tenor and Meadows faculty member Clifton Forbis and mezzo soprano Michaela Martens. Ticket price includes admission to the third annual Meadows Alumni Champagne & Dessert Reception following the concert. Tickets for Dallas Young Alumni (Classes of 2004-2014) are $50 per person and include a $25 gift to SMU.
