ACC Competitiveness Campaign

Your gift will help SMU be ready to compete in the Atlantic Coast Conference on July 1, 2024. Gifts to the ACC Competitiveness Campaign provide enhanced support for our student-athletes and coaches – and ensure we can effectively recruit, retain, train, teach and compete for championships in the ACC.

Thank you for investing in the future of SMU Athletics.

Simmons 25 by 25 Initiative

Your gift to this scholarship program enables the Simmons School of Education and Human Development to recruit and retain outstanding graduate students.

Although more than 60% of Simmons students receive scholarship support each year, affordability remains the top barrier for educators who want to pursue an advanced degree. By 2025, the Simmons School seeks to address more unmet need by securing 25 new scholarships of $25,000 or more – raising $1 million for graduate student scholarships.

We invite you to take part in this critical initiative. Shape the future of education and school leadership in Dallas and beyond by supporting extraordinary teachers who impact countless students.

2023 SMU Traditions Ornament Recognition

UPDATE: This year's ornament promotion has officially ended. There's still time to make your gift and fuel student scholarships, cutting-edge research and the mustang experience this year. Thank you for supporting SMU!!

Mustang Club giving opportunities

Anyone who gives a gift of any size to any area of SMU Athletics becomes a member of the Mustang Club, supporting 484 student-athletes as they strive for success in the classroom and in competition. As we enter the ACC, our goal is to reach 3,500 Mustang Club members by May 31, 2024 – a new department record. We appreciate your support in helping our work of Shaping Champions!

Giving opportunities include:

  • ACC Competitiveness Campaign — Support the costs associated with our entry into the premier conference. Ensure we recruit, train and compete at a championship level.
  • Garry Weber End Zone Complex — Expand and improve our beloved Gerald. J. Ford Stadium. The complex will open in fall 2024, creating new opportunities for all student-athletes and fans.
  • Mustang Athletic Fund — Support the annual operation expenses that benefit all student-athletes across 17 sports. Leave a lasting impact on the achievements of SMU Athletics.
  • Mustang Excellence Funds for each sport — Benefit or enhance a specific program’s greatest need for the upcoming year, such as recruiting, team travel or special equipment.

Give to Friends of SMU Libraries Today

The Friends of SMU Libraries endowment fund was established in 1992 to secure a permanent source of funds to enhance the budgets of the SMU Libraries, to allow the Friends of SMU Libraries to provide continuous support not solely dependent on membership dues and to provide the staff necessary to support its activities. The Friends is committed to helping the libraries maintain their excellence. Since its founding 50 years ago, the Friends group has funded over $1,000,000 in library materials, services and equipment.
