All Alumni, Parents and Friends - SMU at the University of North Texas - Football Tailgate - Denton, Texas
Tailgate tickets are $25 (free for children 8 and younger) and include food and beverage. Tailgate will take place across from Apogee Stadium (I-35 and Eagle Drive).  Tailgate opens 2 hours prior to kickoff at 4 p.m., and closes 30 minutes prior to kickoff at 5:30 p.m. Parking:  Game day cash parking will be available in the designated lots around Fouts Field. Fouts Field is located across I-35 with ADA shuttles and the North Texas pedestrian bridge available for visiting fans. The Fouts Field parking lot is a first come, first serve basis and is $10 per car per parking spot.  Click here for parking map. The Black Alumni of SMU Board invites you to take part in their 2016 Open House! Join fellow alumni on September 8 to hear about upcoming events, the Black Alumni Scholarship and ways to get involved this year with the development and social committees. We will meet at 6:30 p.m. to network and hear from members of the Board and the SMU community. Light appetizers will be provided. SMU Development and External Affairs Building, East Campus.

All Alumni, Parents and Friends - SMU vs. Baylor University Football Tailgate - Waco, Texas
Watch SMU take on the Baylor Bears! The Mustang Club and the SMU Office of Alumni Relations and Engagement invite all SMU alumni, parents and friends to the biggest and best SMU tailgates on the road! All fans are welcome! Tailgates open two hours prior to kickoff. Admission is $25 for adults, free for children 8 and younger, and includes food and beverage. The SMU tailgate area for the SMU vs. Baylor game will be George’s Party Zone. Information is updated regularly prior to each game on our Gameday website, and you can purchase game tickets here.

Dallas-Fort Worth Alumni, Parents and Friends - SMU Reads - Free Presentation with Just Mercy: A Story of Justice and Redemption Author, Bryan Stevenson: Book lovers throughout the Dallas community are invited to participate in an annual SMU tradition, SMU Reads, during summer 2016. This year’s compelling selection is Just Mercy: A Story of Justice and Redemption by Bryan Stevenson.  The community is invited to a presentation by the novel’s author at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, October 13, in McFarlin Auditorium on the SMU campus. The presentation is free and open to the public. If you register to take part in SMU Reads, you will receive regular emails informing you of special events and gatherings. In addition, you also will qualify to purchase Just Mercy at a 10 percent discount through the SMU Barnes & Noble bookstore.
